Solera® Soft Shades

ENERGY-EFFICIENT ROMAN SHADES WITH SCULPTURAL APPEAL

Enjoy the timeless beauty of Roman shades with a contemporary twist.

The fluid, unique look of Solera® Soft Shades is created by combining the soft folds of a classic Roman shade with the construction of a cellular shade. These cordless soft shades bring together soft, diaphanous folds of fabric with a cellular construction. The result? A striking soft window treatment that’s also energy-efficient. Smartly designed pockets trap air and keep your home warmer or cooler, depending on the season.

Specifications

PowerView®

Experience light exactly when you want it. PowerView® Automation gives you precise and convenient control of your Hunter Douglas window treatments. Shades operate independently, moving only when you choose to schedule them.

Programming your window treatments is simple. Operate them from home with the Pebble® Remote Control or through voice activation when PowerView is integrated with smart-home systems such as Amazon Alexa, Siri® on your Apple device or the Google Assistant. For the ultimate in convenience, the PowerView® App is a perfect way to manage your shades when you’re home or away.

UltraGlide®

This revolutionary Hunter Douglas operating system uses either a retractable cord or a soft-touch, ergonomic wand, depending on your window treatment choice, to raise and lower your shade or shading while maintaining a constant cord length. There are no long, dangling cords to detract from the appearance of your window treatment. Ideal for enhanced child and pet safety.

LiteRise®

The LiteRise® operating system makes raising and lowering blinds and shades easier than ever. Its proprietary design holds blinds and shades securely in any position—no constant adjusting. Simply push up to raise and pull down to lower. Your blinds and shades stay right where you put them. There are no lift cords for a clean, uncluttered look that is safe for both children and pets.

Top-Down/Bottom-Up

The ultimate in versatility, Hunter Douglas Top-Down/Bottom-Up window shades and shadings offer you the ability to operate window treatments (including Roman shades, cellular honeycomb shades and woven wood shades) from the top down, bottom up, or in combination to meet all your privacy needs while still giving you access to natural light.

Available with multiple operating systems including including manual or PowerView® Automation.

EasyRise

With our EasyRise™ continuous cord loop you can easily raise, adjust and lower your shades by simply pulling on the cord. Unlike a standard cordlock, a continuous cord loop returns back to the headrail, creating an endless cord. Pulling the cord one direction raises the shades and pulling it the opposite direction lowers the shades. This system is perfect for large window treatments.

Limitations and restrictions may apply. Visit your local Hunter Douglas specialist for more details about operating systems available for our Solera shades.

Available Specialty Shapes

Bay and Corner Window Treatments Bay and Corner Windows Window treatments for bay windows, corner windows and bow windows are usually standard rectangular window-treatment installations. Panels are independent of one another.
Patio and Sliding-Glass Door Window Treatments Patio and Sliding-Glass Doors Virtually any Hunter Douglas window treatment can be outfitted for a traditional patio or sliding-glass door, but some are better suited to these and other large expanses of windows simply because they traverse horizontally.
French Door Window Treatments French Doors Window treatments for French doors are typically mounted outside of the opening (beyond the window frame), may require extension brackets or spacer blocks for proper clearance, and typically require a 'cut-out' to clear the French door handle or knob.
